MISSIONS
The Church of the Nazarene understands that there is no greater mission than reaching those who do not yet know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and then helping them become Christ-like disciples.
Often, we must demonstrate the love of Christ through our actions and deeds before an individual will be receptive to the Gospel. At Kingfisher Nazarene, we believe in taking an active role in the mission field, both in our local community and around the world.

Serving the Local Community
Our church is continually seeking ways to be actively engaged in our local community and share the love of Christ. Kingfisher Church of the Nazarene houses a local food pantry to help those in need. We serve appreciation meals to local schools' staff, host an annual trunk-or-treat for families within the community, and participate with other churches in our district to support R.O.C. (Reaching Our City, a compassionate ministry center in OKC), among other activities throughout the calendar year. We believe that being the Body of Christ calls for movement within our community, and that our love for others can truly impact them to know the love of Christ.
THE GLOBAL MISSION FIELD
We also support our current and retired missionaries through the L.I.N.K.S. program and through payment of World Evangelism Fund allocations through participation in Faith Promise (a systematic giving plan) and prayer.
We also understand that sometimes we’re called to more than just support and recognize Jesus commanded His disciples to “go”. Whether it’s through participation in mission-related activities in Oklahoma or around the world, we are open to following God’s lead in going on mission trips.

PRAYING FOR THE 10/40 WINDOW
The 10/40 Window refers to the area of the world between latitudes 10 degrees and 40 degrees north of the equator covering North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Many of the world’s least-reached people live in this area. The seat of every major non-Christian religion – Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Animism, Atheism, and Sikhism – is headquartered in the 10/40 Window.
